Happy New Year!
Friday, January 2nd, 2009

I hope you all had a great holiday season…I know I did….but truthfully? I’m glad it’s over. So over! I ate too much, drank way too much beer and wine and rye…I’m bloated and cranky….and I haven’t written much at all. So um, yeah me!

I am looking forward to the next year and all the possibilities that it brings….it’s kind of neat when you know there are no peramiters really….just an open canvas to attack! I hope the coming year brings all of my writer friends new sales, new agents and success in all their endeavors!

And a bonus for me…..I’ve been asked to be a regular contributor to The Bradford Bunch blog, which is a blog run by ten of Laura Bradford’s authors. (she’s our agent)….I was very excited to be asked and will be blogging every other Wednesday starting Jan. 14th. How cool is that?

Onwards and upwards I say…..so how is everyone faring after the holidays? And what are you looking forward to most? for me? Getting back to a normal routine will be a blessing…I love my kiddies…but I love them in school way more!!!!

Very cool that you’ll be a regular blogger at the Bradford Bunch…I’ll have to check it out!

Holidays: hooray for beer, wine, and rye, I say! lol. Personally, now I look forward to getting back on a regular writing schedule. I’ve been all over the map the last few weeks and feeling guilty about it, rather than fully enjoying the holidays. Silly, but the clock’s ticking and I want to sell my novel this year, darn it all. So–looking forward to cracking the whip some more…. like right now! (Darn, the Internet is so addictive.)

Julie, that’s my problem….the internet! I followed the advice of a fellow Bradford Babe and she writes and times it…then allows herself a certain bit of surfing…to scratch the itch so to speak….so I’m doing that and it’s helping!
good luck with all your goals….and keep me posted on your progress!

    Hey Bradford, Babe! Congrats!

And yay on the kids back in school. Mine aren’t even kids, per se, but having them around the house…cramps my style.

Now tell be about this boot camp???? Oh beer, wine and tequila be gone…and take the chocolate with you!

    Miss Lainey!
Damn…good to know my kiddies arent’ the only ones that get on the nerves so to speak! And yeah…boot camp here I come….I don’t know what exactly it will consist of….what I do know is that a girl I know that took this class, and works out regularly couldn’t walk after her first session…for like two days….so I’m kinda scared….but WTF….somethings gotta give and so far it’s my a$$!
