Thursday Musings from the Black Hole
Thursday, March 5th, 2009

I read an interesting blog the other day. It was Jessica Faust’s take on the Black Hole. You know, the one that apparently visits editors occasionaly. The very one that gobbles up manuscripts so that they’re never to be seen again. In this particular blog, Miss Faust recieved a reply on an ms that she’d subbed, like three and a half years earlier. Yep, heard me right. 3 1/2 years ago.

And they passed. Ouch.

My life has kinda been like a black hole lately though. I’m losing all kinds of things…money, time, food, the dog and yeah, that invoice my husband needs faxed to a customer like yesterday? You got it….into the black hole it’s gone.

I think it’s in direct relation to the fact that I’m trying to juggle a whole host of things. Writing, editing, office work, compounded by the threat of tax deadline in a few months….kids, dog, husband, hockey, dance….I think you get the drift. So, it’s not surprising that some things go the way of the black hole.

So, I’ve decided I need a calendar with everything going on in my life charted. That’s on my list of things to do. We’ll see if it’s enough to combat the black hole syndrome.

In other late week musings…..I can’t for the life of me, believe that Tatiana has been brought back to American Idol. The girl needs to find her own black hole and disappear. What an annoyingly over drmatic girl she is, and to top it off, SHE AIN’T NO SINGER.

So, it’s Thursday, yes and I’m hoping that Supernatural will be a new episode tonight and maybe even Grey’s Anatomy…..What about ER? Anyone watch it? I haven’t for years, but they have a new promo out, because it’s like, the last five episodes and damn it, I might just have to watch. Fave ER episode? when the helicpoter crashed and killed the bald asshole doctor….loved it!

What musings can anyone else contribute?
