Hey all. Yucky here in nowheresville, Ontario. Rainy, dull, grey. But hey, I’ve got some smokin’ books for you all to consider for weekend pleasure reading.
Here they are in no particular order. Some of these I’ve read, others are in my TBR pile. Take your pic.
New Release: BLUE DIABLO April 7th, 2009 BY ANN AGUIRRE
<%image(20090405-blue-diablo-sm.jpg|133|215|null)%>
Blurb:
Right now, I’m a redhead. I’ve been blonde and brunette as the situation requires, though an unscheduled color change usually means relocating in the middle of the night. So far, I’m doing well here. Nobody knows what I’m running from. And I’d like to keep it that way…
Eighteen months ago, Corine Solomon crossed the border to Mexico City, fleeing her past, her lover, and her “gift”. Corine, a handler, can touch something and know its history—and sometimes, its future. Using her ability, she can find the missing—and that’s why people never stop trying to find her. People like her ex, Chance…
Chance, whose uncanny luck has led him to her doorstep, needs her help. Someone dear to them both has gone missing in Laredo, Texas, and the only hope of finding her is through Corine’s gift. But their search may prove dangerous as the trail leads them into a strange dark world of demons and sorcerers, ghosts and witchcraft, zombies—and black magic…
Sounds yummy, no? You can find more information on this awesome read at Ann Aguirre’s website.

He needs her to help rescue his niece Cammie from a ruthless band of vamps, and he’s willing to pay—in blood. Trusting her is another matter. Adam has never met a vampire who doesn’t lie. Then again, he’s never met anyone like Maya, who fills him with a desperate need that ignites into explosive, no-holds-barred encounters… You can find out more information about this book and others by Cynthia Eden, HERE New Release: TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS, MEGAN HART AND LAUREN DANE <%image(20090405-Taking care of business.jpg|200|298|null)%>
Blurb: One conference, two friends, two men who know how to take care of business. After leaving the wrong man, Leah Griffin’s not ready to look for the right one. All she wants is to survive the conference she’s planning and spend some time with her best friend Kate Edwards. She’s not expecting the conference services manager to be so tall, dark and handsome…or so eager to please. It’s Brandon Long’s job to make Leah happy, but after a scorching interlude in her hotel room, neither can deny business has become pleasure. Smart, driven and successful attorney, Katherine Edwards has spent her life making the right choices. Directly counter to those right choices, she’s involved in a long distance, secret love affair with a co-worker. Charles Dixon is a bad choice she can’t help but make – over and over. A conference and a promotion bring Kate back to Pennsylvania and suddenly, Dix wants far more than a few nights in random hotel rooms. He wants something permanent and Katherine has to figure out if sometimes a wrong choice isn’t exactly what a woman needs. You can find more information on this book at either Lauren Dane’s Website or Megan Hart’s website or HERE

BEING BULLET PROOF SUCKS—LITERALLY
Once, Maya Black was a kick-ass cop patrolling the streets of L.A. She still keeps the city safe, but nowadays her bad guys of choice include demons, werewolves, and assorted nocturnal scum. Something Maya knows a thing or two about. She’s a vampire—and not thrilled about it. Payback meet bitch.
In Mary’s world, there are simple truths.
The Sisterhood always knows best.
The Guardians will protect and serve.
The Unconsecrated will never relent.
And you must always mind the fence that surrounds the village….

Hey Aunt Wendy!
I hear you’re on the mend! Good to know you’re gonna get to see Bobbi and the kiddies……glad you enjoyed Twilight. I read the books before the movie, and though the movie was good, the books are much better. IMHO.
And well, vamps, wolves and JAGUARS certainly rock!
My editor is going to have a meeting on Tuesday with the art department to discuss covers…so I should find out soon what direction we’re going…..
