Hey all!

First off, I hope that all my American friends had a lovely Memorial Day long weekend. Around these parts the weather was very nice so hopefully wherever you were, the sun was shining and family and friends were close at hand.

A few things today:

Lauren Hawkeye, one of my besties has just sent out a full ms that was requested by several big name agencies. I’m wishing her a huge bag of good luck! Suzanne Rock and Amanda Vyne, two more of my besties also have requests from agents and Amanda has just sold her first book, More Than Blood to Loose Id.

Suzanne’s first book, Spyder Web comes out from Loose id in July! Isn’t this a pretty cover?

I also had some sales news. Sold a short story to Samhain Publishing. It’s the first in a five book series of time travelling warrior women! It’s entitled, Black Legacy and will be available early in February of 2010.

I’m also a little sad that my Adam Lambert didn’t win the American Idol crown. However, you wait and see folks, two years from now you’ll be asking, Kris who? But I predict that that Adam is gonna be a huge star. Move over Susan Boyle and make room the dark knight!

Snippet Saturday was a blast. It was loads of fun hopping from blog to blog reading everyone’s excerpts. So many talented women taking part and more have been added to the list, including Michelle Rowen among others! So make sure to stop by this coming Saturday. The theme is going to be First Kiss! Sweet!

Allright! Need to get back to my writing. I’m right in the thick of things with this second jaguar book and it’s starting to heat up! Big time! I hope you all have a great week and just because I’m in a great mood, I thought I’d leave you all with a special treat!
