Tuesday Roll Call
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

It’s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood for sure. The sun is shining, it’s warm, the pool is crystal clear. I have a mountain of office work to catch up on and several things to attack in the writing world. If I’m very good and get to everything on my to do list, then I can maybe float a bit this aft and get some colour on my pasty legs. Nationals is coming up ya know and I’d like to be able to wear shorts in public!

So, Tuesday Roll Call:

-Book One, His Darkest Hunger: Waiting on cover news, most likely nothing for several weeks. With the copy editor now so I’m assuming I’ll be getting copy edits in the next little while.

-Book Two, His Darkest Craving: chugging along on this one. I am aiming to finish in three weeks. I’m at the part where things really are picking up. Action, suspense, danger, all of it. I tend to write faster when the shit hits the fan so I’m pretty confident I’ll get it done.

-Ravyn’s Fall, YA- Am working out how to chop the first half of the book off and re do. While not fun, I’m looking forward to it.

-Waiting on edits for short contracted to Samhain and tooling around with an idea for the space opera…..but, I’d need to get my butt in gear if I’m gonna submit something to that.

-In the middle of judging several entries in the Toronto Romance Writers contest.

-Nationals in three weeks. Trying to work out a little bit so I can fit into new dress bought for the Rita’s.

so, this is about it. The kids are done school on Friday…so I need to get crack a lacking…..what is everyone else up to? list your roll call so I don’t feel so alone!

I am working on a Nocturne Bite. And putting ideas down on paper for a snow leopard story that keeps pushing at me. I have 4 days off this week, and hope to get a lot done.

And course, enjoying this GORGEOUS weather that Southern Ontario finally has!!

Oooh…I entered the TWR contest. Maybe you’re reading my entry as we speak, LOL.

Good luck on the writing. I spent yesterday writing on my laptop on my back deck. Bliss.

    Enjoy your dip!

Marcy! Long time no speak! U going to Nationals? and yes, isn’t it beautiful this week? I just came in off the back deck. Spent an hour or so writing. Been in the pool, but now have to get some stuff done for the hubby. However my word count is in, I’m happy with the scene. It’s all good!

good luck with the contest…and I’m pretty sure I don’t have your entry! I’m judging all paranormal works….u still writing for modern heat kinda stuff? or was is superromance?

No Nationals for me :( Maybe next year. I’m still targeting SSE. I’m about half way through the ms that I entered the TRW contest with. It’s going pretty well, if only I had more hours in the day. Or better yet, didn’t feel so sleepy at the end of the day. Oh well. I’m plugging on.

    Take care!

Thanks very much! If HQ accepts the full for publication, you’ll hear me screaming from here in Toronto. (laughs)
