HI Nancy! Wow, you are aiming for the top, but really, why not? I think that’s a great plan. And really, nails can always grow back! good luck with those…..and la sigh…the day job….I’ve been home for 13 years and was looking to get out and be around adults….PART TIME, however, I really enjoy my job and the ladies I work with, so we shall see. At the moment my writing is going well, and to me, that’s the most important…if it starts to interfere with that then I have the option of going to the part time I’d originally agreed to. so, it’s all good (and um, getting a cleaning lady helps huge!)
What is this farmville?????????? I won’t go near it…have no time!
Hey Jules, good to see a new video blog from you. Sounds like you’re busy! Glad you found a new job you like.
I’m trying to keep things out there so I don’t really focus on any one project too much. Though I got some good news this week that I’ll be sharing soon…
I’ll get you your interview questions soon…the 14th of September will be here before we know it. Man, the summer has gone by so fast!
Run far far away from the Farmville game on Facebook because it WILL drawn you in! (laughs)
Got my rejection from Harlequin yesterday which was a pretty quick response on a full but it was such a NICE rejection. (laughs) She loved the characters and the structure of the story etc but it just wasn’t quite right for the Intrigue line but she wants to see more from me! Squee and thud because I have no WIP’s right now that would fit the Intrigue line! Damn. Ah well, is it weird that I’m happy she liked it so much and I got as far as a requested full on my first submission to them even though she rejected it? On to the next then.
Nancy, that is the kind of rejection an author wants. she’s inviting you to submit directly to her next time. Pass the slush pile…..brainstorm, do whatever it takes, but get a partial done and to this editor pronto……seriously, a great opportunity and you should be very proud.

I totally know what you mean! I missed doing about 2 or so video blogs cause things were just crazy, but I finally caught up last Wednesday.
There’s such truth to that saying that the best way to get better as a writer is just to keep writing, and of course reading!
I have three submissions out there. One w Harlequin, one with Avon and one w Kensigton. Go big or go home right? (bites nails)
I’m doing the day job search now too cause my freelance writing client can’t afford new content right now. Grr.
So glad to have you back! I too muchly loves da twitter but my brother in law got me hooked on that damn Farmville over on FB so I’m still there too.
