I am well on my way to finishing up the first novella in my new series League of Guardians. Tentative title is Shades of Grey, but of course this can change! It’s going well and I’m totally digging my hero and heroine.

I thought I’d share the inspiration I needed for the two of them, so here they are!

Hey guys! I am working in the cover copy for Wicked Road to Hell and it’s getting me really excited! I can’t wait for you guys to read his book! I’ve been staring at the cover for a long time…Declan looks hot!!! But you know the drill. I won’t be able to officially show it for several months, but I thought I’d let you get a little wee glimpse!

So, here is a teaser…..

Again, here is a small blurb about the new series, League of Guardians, which kicks off next year with a prequel in February and continues with Wicked Road to Hell in May.

-For millennia the struggle between light and dark, the upper and lower realms, has been policed by a secret group of warriors culled from every fabric of existence. They are both otherworld and human, male and female. They are light and dark themselves, known to each other as the League of Guardians. Their pledge, to protect the line between the two realms and make sure neither side grows too powerful. If they fall, so shall the earth, the heavens and hell. And there will be no more.

Wow…time is moving faster these days, right? Or am I delusional and in denial about the fact that I’m getting older at a much quicker rate than I’d like? But seriously, do you remember way back in the day when you were under the age of say…10. I remember summer break feeling like it was as long as the entire school year and now? Now it flies by.

So, here it is, mid August and my kids are due back to school in 3 weeks and me…well, I’m stuck wondering where the time has gone. I’ve been busy though…I had Nationals at the end of June and then vacations, book release craziness and I managed to get a little writing done in there.

But miracles of all miracles, I had time to READ. I’ve not really done that in a long time. I bought a kindle in June and am now a total convert. I love it. I love that I can download anything at anytime and that I can read it anywhere. The dentist. The doctor. The car. Anywhere.

So, I thought it would be fun to compare what we’ve spent our summer reading. These are the books I’ve read since June.
