-The rights to His Darkest Hunger have sold to Thailand….Woot! I’m officially International!

The wonderful and amazing Brenda Novak has spearheaded an online auction for several years in order to raise funds for Diabetes research. It’s an amazing cause and one I support 200%. One of my closest friends has had jeuvenile diabetes since the age of 10 and I’ve seen how difficult this can be. It’s a life filled with constant calculations, diet choice, excercise, insulin. Bottom line, my friends pancreas stopped making insulin when she was 10. If she doesn’t take insulin shots every day, she will die.
Scary eh?
So Brenda’s cause is huge and anything we can do as indiduals is a wonderful thing. You need to check out her auction and if something takes your fancy, BID on it! There are a ton of items up for bid this year for authors and readers alike.
Visit the online auction HERE and do it when you have time to look around cause there’s so much to see!
I’ve donated a few items along with my critique partners, The Sirens and Scribes. You can view our item HERE There are many awesome donations in this category so have a look!
Avon, my publishers, has also donated an item, BITTEN BY THE PARANORMAL BUG and they’ve donated 13 books, including HIS DARKEST HUNGER, you can view this item HERE
So, have at it and do your part to support this wonderful auction!

I wanted to do a vblog today but decided against it. Very, Very bad hair and I cannot have it seen in a format that will live forever in the cyber world. So, I decided to do a Mish Mash post.
I love Mish Mash. This is what I serve for dinner on those nights when I actually haven’t cooked. We raid the fridge and cupboard, might throw something in the oven too and once it’s combined we call it MISH MASH!!! Serioulsy, they turn out to be the best dinners….add a cold beer and we’re good to go!
So I’m just gonna talk about whatever the heck comes to mind….Right now I’m looking out the dining room window at the beautiful trees that line the side of our yard. They’re Oriental Pear trees I believe and their blooms are freaking beautiful. BUT the smell awful. Like I gag when I walk out there and can’t sit on the back deck until they are gone. WTF? Seriously is this natures little flipping of the bird? I suppose some might find the scent lovley, I however need to cover my nose.
Okay, next up is Criminal Minds. It’s Wednesday and in my house that means Criminal Minds night. I just started watching this show over the Christmas holidays..A&E runs marathons so I’m in heaven on the weekends. I love it. The casting is spot on…I have a huge, huge crush on Reed and man I think if I hugged him i could literally crush him. I love how it can be light but when it’s dark, it really digs in. I love the quotes given at the beginning and end. I LOVE CRIMINAL MINDS! I even started following Mathew Guber (the actor who portrays Reed) on Twitter….he takes a lot of pictures…candid shots which I love.
Okay, other than that….love Crystal off American Idol….she will win, this I predict. This is the only reality show I watch. don’t care about the dancing and the bachelors and the survivors. just the singers.
Oh and I also have a huge crush on Damon from Vampire Diaries.
My TBR pile is as follows: Dead Tossed Waves-Carrie Ryan
First Drop of Crimson-Jeaniene Frost
On the Way to the Wedding-Julia Quinn
Dark Slayer-Christine Feehan
Recently bought cd: Foo Fighters
Last ate: Ham wrap with really, really hot djon….so, what is your Mish Mash….thrill me, entertain me with whatever you can!

Hey all, been a crazy few weeks but right now I’m settling into the groove, and I’m officially A PUBLISHED AUTHOR!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG I can’t express how wonderful and cool it feels to say that! so, all the hoopla surrounding release has come and gone and I move on.
And my world is crazy busy too! Between the kids, hubby and the dog I’m hopping, so add deadline into the mix and well, there are days that I’m pulling my hair out! But this is what I”m up to…
The third book in my Jaguar Warrior Series, His Darkest Salvation is due May 15th. I found out mid February that the project was a go. At that time I had 8k written. Eeeeek! I’ve been writing my a$$ off and if I stay on schedule will have this book done by the end of April. I will confess to loving this one. A lot. My hero Julian is so yummy, and tortured and yummy and his lady is wickedly awesome and kickass. Toss in a lot of action and chaos and well, it’s been a total blast to write.
I also will be able to announce a date for the second Black Opals story to be pubbled by Samhain. It should be available this summer. It’s tentativley titled Black Destiny.
Other than that, I am working on a project for my agent and once that is done will start work on the fourth book in my series in June. Hopefully summer will be kind to me and let me finish the damn thing by September!
In between all of this I’m so looking forward to meeting up with agents, editors and friends in Nashville for RWA’s national conference. I cannot wait, it truly is the highlight of my summer!
So if this sounds busy, well, it is and to relax I enjoy a great glass of wine, merlot or cab/merlot preferred and tonight after I get my words in I will be watching The Vampire Diaries. I LOVE THIS SHOW. Like Love….can you tell why?

whew, it’s over. The moment I’d been looking forward to for like, ever, it seems is over. His Darkest Hunger released on Tuesday and the whole thing still kinda seems like a blur to me. Seriously. We had a book launch here where I live and Nicole did an amazing job! We sold a lot of books and there was even, ahem, a lineup for me to sign for almost an hour! Weeeeeeeeee! It was very cool!
I will post some pics in a bit! I just want to say a huge thank you to all your well wishes, and to those who’ve participated in the contest. I am sending the info out this week to the authors who donated books, so they can mail out the winners prizes!
Again, you guys all rock!

Blurb:
His need for her was so absolute, he agreed to share her with another man in order to possess her.
Genny loved her husband Max, but something was missing—a sexual charge that was instead ignited by his business partner, Sean. He was ruggedly handsome, with a heart-stopping smile and a slow, sexy New Orleans drawl that made Genny weak. The more time they spent together, the stronger the attraction between them became and when her husband offered to share her with Sean for one intoxicating night, both Genny and Sean were too tempted to refuse.
That night in the company penthouse, Max and Sean showed Genny the heights of ecstasy. But it was Sean who scored her very spirit, and one-on-one, they were red hot. But as Genny learns, there’s a price to pay for such impulsive pleasure. What began as a night of forbidden desire spirals into a whirlpool of murder, sensual submission, secrets, and a scorching passion that threatens to consume everyone it touches.
Sounds yummy, no?

Hey all!
Today I have a wonderful announcement! I accepted a second contract with Avon/Harpercollins and am going to write 2 more books in my Jaguar Warrior Series. Yay! Book three is the third brother, Julian Castille’s story. I’m having a blast writing it and am excited to be able to tell Declan’s story in book 4.
I am incredibly happy and blessed and just so happy to have a wonderful agent and editor who believe in me! So, look for those books to hit the shelves sometime in 2011. As soon as I know where they’ll be in the schedule I’ll post. As of now this is my schedule:
His Darkest Hunger April 2010
His Darkest Embrace November 2010
In other news I have a jpg of the cover for my second book and I only have one word: HAWT. Man, Tom the god of covers really outdid himself…he told me the cover was going to take shifters to a whole new level and I really think he’s right! Sucks that I must keep it to myself for the next few months but as soon as I can I will for sure post it!
So as of now I’m busy working on this third book, His Darkest Salvation and for inspiration, the following are pics of my main characters, Let me know what you think!
Julian Castille:
