For those who feast on blood, Jillian Conrad is a fatal attraction. After being injected with a serum that made her blood both irresistible and deadly to vampires, she was used as a pawn to assassinate the vampire king. Now, the vampires want her eliminated.
Hunted and unable to return to her old life, Jillian desperately seeks to prevent the poison in her veins from killing her. And she must find a way to help her dhampyr protector, Declan, whose exposure to the serum has split his personality into one part uncontrolled desire, and one part stone cold killer.
But an even greater danger is rising. The Amarantos – a secret society of vampires – is seeking the infant daughter of the slain king to complete their quest for true immortality. And if they succeed, no one, living or undead, will escape the darkness.
Question of the day: Who is your favorite kick ass heroine? One of mine? Laura Ingalls!

Todays prize package: Abandon the Night and Embrace the Night Eternal by Joss Ware.

From the raging fires, five men emerge with extraordinary new powers. They are humankind’s last hope . . . but they cannot survive this dark, ravaged world alone . . .
Quentin Fielding had everything. Money. Power. Women. But now that civilization is all but annihilated, Quent wants only one thing: revenge. Harnessing a strange new “gift,” he embarks on a deadly mission to find the man responsible for the chaos and destruction, the man he should have killed years ago: his father. Only one thing stands in his way–a mysterious, arrow-wielding beauty . . .
Zoe Kapoor is on her own quest for vengeance, searching for the monstrous fiends who murdered her family. Soon she and Quent join together, journeying through the ruins of the world they once knew as a desperate desire builds between them. Drawing closer to an enemy they never imagined, Zoe and Quent must abandon all fear, abandon all regret, abandon the night . . .

Simon Japp will never forget his violent past. But when civilization is all but destroyed, he sees his chance for redemption. Blessed with a strange “gift,” he’s determined to help the resistance against the Strangers, the mysterious force that stalks them at every turn. He can’t afford to get distracted, even by the stunning, soft-spoken woman fighting by his side . . . Sage Corrigan has learned to be careful where she places her trust. But she sees something good in Simon, even if he can’t see it in himself. Posing as lovers to infiltrate a group key to their fight, they find that their staged affection soon develops into a desire that will leave them fighting for their lives in the night eternal . . .
All right! Question for the day: If you suddenly found yourself in a post-apocalyptic world where everything you know is gone…what is the the one thing you would miss the most?

Today’s prize package is Devil Without A Cause!

Idle hands are the Devil’s workshop…
Temptation and seduction are the tricks of the Devil’s trade, and when offered the chance to regain his wings by playing guardian angel, he’s hell-bent on doing things his way…
Faith McFarland is in need of a miracle. So desperate to save her sick child, she’s willing to make a deal with the Devil: steal a ring worn by Finn Payne, the bad-boy rockstar who long ago sold his soul for rock ‘n roll. Temptation and seduction become necessary evils, yet Faith’s salvation means Finn’s damnation . . . because the ring is all that stands between him and Hell. Falling in love was never part of the bargain, but now that they’ve tasted heaven in each other’s arms, can they convince the Devil to give up his due?
Yummy cover and great book! Trust me! So, the question of the day is…
What would it take for you to sign your soul over to the devil? Good luck everyone!

Hey guys, just a quick post about some awesome books that release today…..
I had the pleasure of reading Karina Cooper’s BLOOD OF THE WICKED last year, well before it was to be released. It is a wonderful, hot and intense read–an amazing debut from a very talented writer!
The Blurb: As an independent witch living off the grid, Jessie Leigh has spent her life running, trying to blend in among the faceless drudges in the rebuilt city. She thought she was finally safe, but now she’s been found in a New Seattle strip club—by a hard-eyed man on a mission to destroy her kind.
A soldier of the Holy Order, Silas Smith believes in the cause: trawling the fringes of society for the murderous witches who threaten what’s left of the world. Forced into a twisting web of half-truths and lies, he has to stay close to the most sensuous and electrifying woman he has ever seen and manipulate her into leading him tot he witch he has to kill: her brother. Silas doesn’t know that Jessie’s his enemy, only that he wants her, needs her, even as he lies to her… and must protect her until his final breath.
The Cover:

As well my good friend Elisabeth Naughton has a hot story in a very cool anthology BODYGUARDS IN BED
The Blurb:
There’s just one cardinal rule when it comes to being a bodyguard: no matter how tempting it may be, never, ever get romantically involved with the person you’re supposed to be protecting. But as these sensual novellas prove, even the most important rules are made to be broken–again and again and again. Join acclaimed authors Lucy Monroe, Jamie Denton, and Elisabeth Naughton as they open the files on an undercover operative who finds a sexy surprise under his covers, a hot case involving mixed messages and mistaken identities, and a mission impossible protecting a provocative beauty who lives to love dangerously.
Yeah, it’s a hard job,
but someone’s gotta do it.

Wow, it is officially less than two months before Julian’s book, His Darkest Salvation releases! I’ve got some early feedback from reviewers and Dangerous Romance says “The fireworks are everywhere in this book. The sheer sexual chemistry between Jaden and Julian was enough to burn the pages.”
Please check back as I’ll be announcing a contest soon and I’ll have a new book trailer to unveil!
I’m so excited for this story! A lot of loose ends are tied up and Declan’s fate is more tenuous than ever. I so love my Castille brothers and am kind of sad to see the Jaguar Warrior’s trilogy end but there are so many good things in store!
Declan’s book, Wicked Road to Hell, kickstarts my new series for Avon, League of Guardians. But before his book releases next May, (2012) a prequel will be available in ebook format only. It will release in February of 2012. I’ll give some more deets when I can…but this original novella will explain a little more of what’s happening in the League of Guardian books.
I also wanted to let you know that I have all three of the Jaguar Warriors books (signed) up for bid on the Brenda Novak auction for Diabetes. You can bid HERE for a great cause! Only 3 more days to go….the auction ends May 31st!
In the meantime there is a contest at BookPerk and you can vote HERE for a chance to win free books from Avon/Harpercollins!
So, my world is busy as usual, but this is an addition to the family that I had to share….

This is Gibson, a little kitten my daughter found near our home. As you can see from the picture, he’s absolutely adorable and there was no way we couldn’t keep him! So far he’s been eating well off a bottle and I’m about to introduce him to real food…the lovely thing? He likes to purr beside me when I write!
Until next time, take care…and I hope that all my American friends have a wonderful long Memorial Day weekend!
