I’ve been a bad, bad, girl again…neglecting my blogging. But, well, I’ve been busy….had some stuff happen so I thought I’d fill you in.
First off, we had a fire in our house. Yes, a FIRE. All I’m going to say is NEVER LEAVE YOUR DRYER RUNNING WHEN YOU’RE NOT HOME. We were very lucky…minimal damage ONLY because my brother decided to drop by out of the blue to pick up a guitar. OUT OF THE BLUE. Fate? You smexy bitch….THANK YOU.
BUT, of course a lot of my clothes were either in the washer or in the dryer, or in the hamper OR melted to the top of the dryer….little stringy things…melted for the firemen to see. Yep, my dental floss t-bars….so, I’ve had to try to find time to get some shopping done….to replace said melted dental floss. Not been too successful either. I don’t know what it is about shopping, but man, when I needs stuff I can’t find it…when I don’t? Freakin deals everywhere I turn….
So, if you’ve been waiting on coverflats they’ll hit the mail this week…I’m a litte unorganized.
Also it’s my Birthday this week….Just sayin
Some wonderful news….it’s official…Declan’s book which is the first in my new series, LEAGUE OF GUARDIANS, is going to be titled…WICKED ROAD TO HELL…this is the title I gave it and I’m so thrilled my publisher liked it too!
I’m also working on my third Black Opal book for Samhain Publishing. I am sorry to the people who’ve been emailing about when it will be available…I’ll let you know as soon as I do…..but trust me I shall do my best to make it worth your while.
I just want to say right now I’m jealous of everyone at RT. That is all.
And lastly…..a cover reveal…..my official cover for His Darkest Salvation has cropped up on Goodreads, so I thought what the hell….here it is….what do you think?

Damn but I’ve been lax in my blogging of late. I shall blame deadlines and such. I’ve some stuff to share, some of it sad and some of it inspiring, and some, well, just news in general.
First off the romance community is rallying around a woman who a lot of people admire and respect. Fatin a popular blogger and assistant to many in the romance community lost her husband to tragedy. You can read about it HERE.
Operation Auction has been set up to help Fatin through this difficult time. She is now a single mother with four children to raise. There are hundreds of items going up for bid, you can read all about them HERE This is a wonderful cause and there are many, many great items, from signed books, to critiques, to purses, jewelry, gift baskets. Look for some awesome baskets put together with a host of Bradford Bunch authors including yours truly.

In other news. I am pleased to say that I’ll be writing 2 ebook originals for Avon’s new ebook only line, Impulse. The first one, A TASTE OF WICKED will be released next February a few months before Declan’s book, WICKED ROAD TO HELL. I can’t say just yet who will be in this book, but trust me, it will be worth the wait!
This is totally unrelated to writing, but last weekend I sang our national anthem at a local hockey game and I DIDN’T PULL AN AGUILERA! Thank god…I was terrified I’d screw up the words. It went well, our boys won and yes, the earth still turned.
Okay, peeps, it’s time for me to walk the dog but I before I sign off I just want to say how awful I feel for what is happening in Japan right now. My heart goes out to everyone over there. Nuff said.

Hey everyone! It’s still snowing like mad here in the land of Canuk. Schools are closed, everyone is home and I’m hoping to avoid the family for most of the day so I can get some good word count in on the book I’m working on! In lieu of writing a post and in reaction to a bit of nastiness that occurred yesterday I’m posting a video blog I did nearly two years ago.
At the time I was upset to see an author totally shredded on Dear Author. Yesterday, Dear Author chose to post a link on their site to Tiffany Clare’s blog, a post where she ranted huge about the effects of pirating and what it does to her bottom line. She was very upset and rightly so, and it was her own forum she used to voice her thoughts…all authors…oh, let me rephrase….most authors are upset by this. But what I saw once again, on this site, was a back and forth that I don’t understand. Insults thrown etc. I’ll admit, I felt the need to post, and lesson learned, there are sites I will just stay away from.
Anyway, I thought I’d post this vid blog again as it kinda says what I feel in my own humble way.

All right guys, it’s Saturday and snowing like hell in the land of Canuk. I’ve got laundry on and have settled in for a day of writing…have words to make up as the drama that was my life yesterday didn’t make for good creative juices if you know what I mean…
So, I thought I’d share a few things…..first up a little teaser about the direction of what I’m working on in the land of paranormal….

As of the moment however, I’m hard at work on a contemporary novel with the hope that my agent will sell it! This is a small snippet of what I wrote yesterday. Just thought I’d share. I’m thinking the next few scenes after this one there will be some sexytimes….hmmmm…..
Her eyes were stormy again. Just like the night he’d met her.
“I’ll be honest Maggie. I don’t know what this is between us or where it’s going. The only thing I’m sure about is that I’ve never felt this way before. All twisted and anxious and…” he grinned, “horny as hell.” Something passed between them in that moment, a look in her eyes, an answering need.
Cain decided to put it all out there. “I want to know what you think about before you fall asleep.” His eyes smouldered and his skin was hot. He lowered his voice and moved closer, loving the way she bit her lip. “I want to know who you think about when you’re alone in the shower. He was suddenly aware of the others milling about several feet behind him. It was a reality check and he cocked his head, effectively dousing the erotic images in his mind. “You coming?”
She stared at him for several long seconds and just when he thought he’d blown it, Maggie exhaled, squared her shoulders and put her hand in his. She didn’t say a word.

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged and now that I’m over the holiday crazies, things have settled down somewhat! Or as slow as they’re ever going to get. Which is okay, cause if I had nothing going on you know this would just be a bitchfest about the fact that I HAD NOTHING GOING ON.
Truthfully, I’m pretty excited about the projects I’m working on and what’s coming down the pike. I finally have the release date for Declan’s Book, Wicked Road to Hell is currently scheduled for May of 2012. I know that seems so far away and things could change, which if they do, I’ll let you know!
Right at the moment though I’m working on a contemporary romance that has me all tingly and excited. My hero is a rock star, a man who’s returned to his small home town after being gone for 10 years. He’s a cross between these two men
Which would mean, my hero Cain Black is my ulitmate fantasy man. Now I’ve been told that romance’s featuring rockstars don’t sell…..my question, who the hell wouldn’t want to read about a man who was the child of Jon Bon Jovi and Nikki Sixx? Huh?
