Favorite Christmas memories are when the entire family is together to celebrate and it’s a two day affair – Christmas Eve and Christmas Day although Christmas Eve is always the bigger celebration.

When we were young most years we spent Christmas at my aunt and uncle’s house in LI with extended family. When we moved to CT some years were at our house and others in Queens at that same aunt and uncle’s house. Then the holiday was celebrated at my parents every year and for quite a few years it’s now at my house where we reminisce and have all our traditional favorite Italian foods.

Sweet! Thanks for the chance…My favorite Christmas memory has to be when my whole family would get together – aunts, cousins, grandparents – and we would spend the night singing holiday songs, eating traditional holiday food and then the kids (all the cousins) would have to go to bed in the living room all together (the tree was outside in the terrace) then in the morning we would all open our presents and eat left over lechon (pork) sandwiches for breakfast.

I can’t say there’s any one memory that stands out, just that being with family no matter where you are in the world is what makes it Christmas. The year I spent overseas was a tough one for me and now that my parents are both gone my brother and I find Christmas without them tough. He has triplets so now we do our best to spoil them and make their Christmas memories as great as the ones we have.

As i don’t really celebrate Christmas per se as i’m Wiccan, i’m going to have to stretch this one a bit, but my greatest gift had to have been shopping spree for me and my best girlfriend. Now some might say they wanted to shop at a clothing store, shoe store, or some such nonsense, but we got to spree in BARNES AND NOBLE! which for us was the best gift ever. Thanks for the chance to win and i can’t wait to read this next addition to a great series.
