I can’t beleive it’s September. I mean, Hello…where did my summer go? Cause it flew by when I wasn’t looking. Does anyone else find life is just way too crazy busy? Between the kids, the husband, the writing and all the social festivities, sports etc. I think I blinked and now it’s over.

‘sallright tho. Seriously. I’m happy my kids are going back to school. The oldest is starting highschool (sobs) and the youngest is going into grade 6. Routine will once again rule the house!

So what did I do and accomplish? Well, before summer started I handed in Book 3 in The Jaguar Warriors His Darkest Salvation . (I’ve added an excerpt so click on the link to read it!) And then I dove straight into Book 4, Declan’s book which incidentally I’m finishing this long weekend. So I’ve written all summer. Played baseball. Had a release from Samhain, Black Destiny , did copy edits and a revision too!

I attended RWA in Orlando, spent the entire week with all my writer buddies and it was awesome!

Managed to get a fat lip whilst playing baseball. The band played a couple gigs…and I packed on a few pounds!

No wonder the summer passed so quickly!

What’s up in the coming months?

In October I’ll be travelling to New York City to attend ComicCon. I’m absolutely thrilled I was asked to participate on a panel, Fangs vs Fur with the likes of Jeaniene Frost, Pamela Palmer and more!

October 26th sees the release of my Jagger’s book, His Darkest Embrace so be on the lookout for contests and such in its honour!

Other than that….I shall be writing….and I’m not complaing at all!

Tell me, what the heck has everyone else been up to? What are your plans for the fall and winter?

Okay so I’m working on my new book. It’s the fourth for Avon and though it ties up some character arcs from the first three jaguar warrior books, it’s definitely heading in a different direction. It’s exciting…writing a new story arc and creating a different world for the continuation of this series.

But for now I get to play with Declan. He’s always been one of my favorite characters. He’s a smart ass with a heart of gold. And he’s loves a woman who doesn’t return his feelings. Or does she? LOL, you’ll have to stay tuned as to the fate of Declan and whomever woman he ends up with!

Here are a few of my fave lines so far:

Nico glanced his way and Declan winced at the fury that lay in his eyes. Shit here we go. With his newly shorn Mohawk the jaguar looked like a deranged serial killer. “One word,” the warrior hissed, “purgatory.”
Declan clenched his hands into fists, at the ready, just in case. He was never going to live down the Church of the Holy fiasco. “Look the whole purgatory thing was a mistake but can we please move on? How the hell was I supposed to know the ladies were pure? That they’d been chosen to serve?”
Nico was disgusted. “They were living in a fucking convent. That might have been your first clue.”

“Did you want more?” His voice was like silk and she could see the smirk that hugged the corner of his mouth. What the hell was wrong with her?
“No!” She protested much too quickly and as his smile deepened Ana fought the urge to slam her fist up the side of his head.
“The next time I put my mouth on your body I intend to take my time and indulge.”
Ana jumped off the counter. “There won’t be a next time. You’re not my type, remember?” Liar…everything about him is your type.
Declan was nearly out the door. “Yeah, and your eyes are not tattooed to my ass right now.”

Woot! Today is the birthday of my country….Here in Canuk land we’re celebrating 143 years of independence. Sheesh, about half the age of the lovely Ana Delacrux. She is the vampire heroine of the current book I’m working on.

So on this monumental day I’m kicking back…relaxing and writing! Yes I’ve got deadlines looming and edits on two different projects-Book 2 in my upcoming Samhain Release, Black Destiny and His Darkest Salvation the third book in my Jaguar Warrior series.

But I thought I’d take a bit of time and leave you all with some cool Canadian conent:
